From the time I was very small, all I could think about was being an artist. I hoped to create a life that allowed me to follow my dream to the fullest. After attending a liberal arts college and becoming an award winning artist, I still didn't feel I was on the right path. As I bounced from radio DJ to interior designer to gallery director, I finally landed my dream job as the product designer for a large jewelry company, but something was still missing. Not until my daughter was born did I discovered that what I had been doing my entire life was actually the thing that I had been desperately looking for.
At a young age, my first real camera was literally laid on my doorstep by my biological father. As much as I hate to say it, someone who hardly knew me unknowingly handed me my passion in life. I immediately started taking photos of the people and the world around me. I would make my sister, boyfriends, friends, pets anyone that would stand still, model for me. As time passed, i went from making my sister stand in awkward poses while i got my settings right to creating a sought after photography business. The highlight came this past year when i had the opportunity to shoot cycle 10 winner of Americas Next Top Model, Whitney Tompson. I can honestly say that the sky is the limit and am so happy that I found the path I am meant to be on. My dreams are being achieved and because of my many blessings, I live each day to its fullest.
